TPS Preston has strengthened its ability to serve independent garages in the LA (Lancaster) postcode area with the opening of a new site in Kendal.
Based at Mintsfleet Industrial Estate, Mintsfleet Road, Kendal LA9 6LU, the 6,830 sq ft facility will be supported by a fleet of four delivery vans. Four new van drivers and two warehouse staff have been added to the team, ensuring efficient daily deliveries. Customers will continue to place orders through TPS Preston, using the same sales team and contact details.
Les Crabtree, TPS Preston Centre Manager said: “The opening of the new site in Kendal will make a huge difference to the LA postcode territory as we can now offer a quicker service to more customers.
“TPS Preston has been delivering to Kendal for 10 years but it is an hour away from that particular Centre. The new site also means we can give an on demand delivery service to more customers providing them the parts they need, when they need them.”
The new site will cover deliveries to north Lancashire (including Lancaster, Morecambe, and Carnforth), southern Cumbria (including Barrow-in-Furness, Kendal, Ulverston, Windermere, Dalton-in-Furness, Milnthorpe, Sedbergh, Grange-over-Sands, Askam-in-Furness, Kirkby-in-Furness, Broughton-in-Furness, Coniston, Ambleside, and Millom), along with parts of the North Yorkshire region.
TPS is a trade-only partner supplying parts, oils, consumables, and tooling to independent garages.
