Six months after joining forces through the IAAF Garage Den initiative, Cataclean and Courtwood Car Services are celebrating a successful partnership that has transformed product confidence, increased workshop adoption and strengthened the relationship between supplier and independent garage.
The collaboration began following the 2025 IAAF Conference, where Cataclean’s Sales Director, William Jones, pitched the brand’s flagship fuel and exhaust system cleaner to the ‘Aftermarket Dragons’. Courtwood Car Services selected Cataclean to be its development partner, with the aim of integrating the product into everyday workshop operations and gathering real-world feedback.
Since then, the partnership has gone from strength to strength. Working closely together over the past six months, the Cataclean team has supported Courtwood Car Services with product training, technical guidance and ongoing collaboration, helping the workshop understand where Cataclean can deliver the greatest value for both technicians and customers.
The result has been increased confidence across the entire workshop team, with Cataclean now becoming a regular part of the garage’s service offering.
William Jones, Sales Director at Cataclean, said: “One of our main objectives from the Garage Den project was to ensure the whole team got behind the product and truly believed in what Cataclean can do. We wanted Cataclean to become part of the garage’s everyday offering – and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved.
“This has never just been about supplying a product. It’s about working alongside an independent garage, understanding their challenges and demonstrating how Cataclean can add genuine value to both the workshop and its customers. The feedback we’ve received over the past six months has been incredibly positive and shows the importance of strong supplier relationships.”
Courtwood Car Services has seen first-hand how Cataclean can support workshop profitability while helping motorists improve vehicle performance, fuel economy and emissions.
Initially introducing the product with cautious optimism, the team quickly became convinced after seeing consistent results across a wide range of customer vehicles.
Randeep Reehal, Owner of Courtwood Car Services, commented: “It’s been a great and growing relationship. Working closely with Cataclean has really built our confidence in the product and we’ve had fantastic support from the team throughout.
“Initially there was a little resistance in the garage, which is natural whenever you introduce something new. But once our technicians started seeing the results for themselves, everything changed. The proof really is in the pudding with Cataclean. It delivers results, adds value for our customers and has become an easy recommendation as part of our servicing.”
Reehal added: “Having a direct relationship with a supplier is a breath of fresh air. We’ve been able to share feedback, ask questions and work together, rather than simply buying a product off the shelf. We’re looking forward to continuing to support the brand even more.”
The success of the project highlights the value of closer collaboration between suppliers and independent garages, ensuring products are not only technically effective but also commercially viable within busy workshop environments.
With Cataclean now firmly embedded within the workshop’s day-to-day operations, both companies see the IAAF Garage Den initiative as the beginning of an ongoing partnership focused on helping garages deliver better outcomes for their customers.
