MAHLE to showcase workshop equipment and “man and van” model

MAHLE will put its workshop equipment range firmly in the spotlight at this year’s UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, demonstrating how it is helping garages and motor factors adopt new technologies through a practical, hands-on approach.

Taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 3 – 4 June, MAHLE will exhibit both inside the hall and at the main entrance, where visitors will have the opportunity to explore its dedicated Workshop Equipment demonstration van. The dual presence reflects MAHLE’s focus on bringing equipment directly to customers and showcasing how it works in real-world environments.

At the heart of the display will be MAHLE’s core workshop equipment solutions, including its air conditioning service machines, advanced ADAS calibration systems and the latest TechPRO diagnostic platform.

The ArcticPRO range will highlight fast, precise and compliant air conditioning servicing, with fully automated processes designed to support workshops working across hybrid, electric and internal combustion vehicles. In diagnostics, the TechPRO®2 system will demonstrate how intuitive, next-generation diagnostics can improve efficiency, including its E-Scan functionality, which enables workshops to generate CARA-certified State of Health reports for EV batteries.

MAHLE will also showcase its TechPRO® Digital ADAS 2.0 system, which simplifies calibration through self-adaptive technology. By reducing the need to physically move vehicles and target boards, the system can cut calibration time by up to 80%, while step-by-step 3D guidance helps technicians carry out processes with greater confidence and less training.

Alongside the equipment itself, MAHLE will use the event to demonstrate its “man and van” model, a key part of its strategy to support both motor factors and garages. Through a dedicated demonstration vehicle and technical specialist, MAHLE delivers on-site product demonstrations directly to customers, helping generate demand and drive sales without adding complexity for distribution partners.

Visitors to the event will be able to see this approach in action via the Workshop Equipment van positioned at the entrance, offering a clear example of how MAHLE is bringing equipment closer to the customer and supporting adoption in a practical, accessible way.

Andy Lees, Head of Western Europe MAHLE Aftermarket, said: “The UK Garage & Bodyshop Event is the perfect platform for us to demonstrate how our workshop equipment range works in practice. It’s not just about showing products, it’s about helping garages understand how they can use them to improve efficiency, take on new work and future-proof their business. Our ‘man and van’ model is a key part of that, bringing hands-on demonstrations directly to customers and making it easier for both factors and garages to engage with new technology.”

MAHLE’s presence at the show underlines its commitment to supporting the independent aftermarket with solutions that go beyond product supply, combining equipment, demonstration and technical expertise to help businesses maximise performance and profitability.

Visitors can find MAHLE in the exhibition hall and at the main entrance display across both days of the event.
