The Shanghai Auto Show now in it’s 19th year has seen innovation in abundance over the years but no year has perhaps marked such a change in direction for the auto industry as 2021.
Chinese manufacturers led the charge this year, with new models from Xpeng, Nio, BYD as well as models from lesser known Chinese brands. European brands enjoyed coverage from Volvo, Mercedes and Audi as we see an increasing move into EV.
