Leading additives brand, Cataclean, has announced it has teamed up with Kerrs Tyres & Auto and NAPA Auto Parts to sponsor the Briggs Equipment NW200 2025 event, held from 5th to 10th May 2025, as part of its commitment to supporting its customers and partners to enhance brand awareness.
The NW200 is Ireland’s largest motorbike road race event taking place between the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine. Originally run as a single race over 200 miles, generations of road racers from Duke to Dunlop, have competed around the famous Triangle.
Cataclean’s sponsorship of the event comes after the brand recently announced a new partnership with Kerrs Tyres & Auto in Northern Ireland, which will see Cataclean’s leading product range distributed to all of Kerrs 26 outlets via NAPA Auto Parts.
The brand’s flagship 8-in-1 fuel and exhaust system cleaner cleans the fuel tank and lines, fuel injectors, combustion chambers, intake and exhaust valves, EGR valve, oxygen sensors, catalytic converter and DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filters), helping to restore performance, improve fuel economy, extend engine component life and reduce emissions.
Maddie Bamber, Key Account Manager at Cataclean commented: “We are no strangers to the motorsport community and understand the value sponsorships of racing events such as the Briggs Equipment NW200. This exciting event attracts top-tier riders and teams from across the globe and we’re delighted to be able to bring the Cataclean brand to them all in May.”
Bamber added: “Cataclean is a very easy-to-use, simple add-on for servicing and pre-MOT jobs in garages and workshops. Thus, adding value to the customer and the business – whilst doing right by the vehicle and the environment.”
Since 1995, Cataclean has been a key player in the market, establishing itself as the ‘go-to’ cleaning solution for fuel and exhaust systems. The brand’s leading product range does in one product what other brands need four or five to achieve, thus the formation of Cataclean’s 8-in-1 fuel and exhaust system cleaner.
This year’s NW200 event was launched at a live preview, held in the BBC Blackstaff Studios Belfast, and was hosted by BBC Sports presenter, Stephen Watson, and broadcaster, Claire McCollum. The launch event featured interviews with top road racing competitors gearing up for NW200 2025 and was streamed live to fans across the globe.
