Leading additives brand, Cataclean, has announced a new collaboration with content creator Abby Higgins as she puts the finishing touches to her road-legal, Nürburgring-inspired Porsche build before taking it on an epic European road trip and tackling one of the world’s most iconic circuits.
The partnership is a natural fit, combining Cataclean’s commitment to helping vehicles perform at their best with Higgins’ hands-on approach to building a Porsche that’s equally at home on the road and on the Nürburgring. Having already used Cataclean throughout the build, the collaboration is a genuine extension of a project that was already underway.
The idea for Higgins’ Porsche build came after a trip to the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where she was inspired by the look and character of the endurance race cars. She said: “Seeing the cars at Nürburgring was what sparked the idea. They felt raw, aggressive, and completely built for a purpose. I wanted to capture that same feeling and create my own version of it – not a GT3 replica, but something that looked like it could have rolled straight out of the N24 pit lane and onto the road.”
The result is a highly modified, road-legal Porsche featuring a fully custom roll cage, bespoke aerodynamic package, CAD-designed components, modified GT3-style bumper construction with custom moulding and extensively reworked bodywork – all designed to replicate the spirit of endurance racing.
The project was completed in just two months, undertaken alongside full-time work and long nights at the workshop. Higgins added: “Nothing was really bolt-on. A lot of the car had to be custom-made, hand-built, and modified. It was one of those builds where every job revealed another problem, but that’s also what made it so rewarding.
“I didn’t want it to be something that just sat in a garage. I loved the idea of building a car that could turn heads at the Nürburgring, but still be driven across Europe or to the petrol station.”
As part of the European road trip, the Porsche will also be put through its paces at the Nürburgring by content creator and Nürburgring specialist Misha Charoudin.
Charoudin commented: “You can instantly tell how much work and attention to detail has gone into this build. It’s got real character and feels exactly how a Nürburgring-inspired road car should – raw, exciting and properly engaging to drive. Abby’s created something really special.”
Maddie Bamber, Key Account Manager at Cataclean, explained: “We are so excited to be working with Abby on this project. It’s a great fit for both parties, bringing together Cataclean’s passion for helping vehicles perform at their best with Abby’s focus on building a car that delivers reliability, longevity and real-world performance.”
Higgins added: “Cataclean felt like a good fit because the build is all about performance and keeping the car healthy, helping it run efficiently while being driven regularly.”
As a road-driven, high-performance build, the Porsche requires consistent maintenance of fuel and exhaust systems – an area where Cataclean’s flagship 8-in-1 formulation supports ongoing engine cleanliness, efficiency and lowers emissions.
