Launch into the future at Mechanex 2025

A diagnostic tool for automotive by Launch Tech.

Launch Tech UK will take centre stage at the upcoming Mechanex Show on 15th and 16th May 2025, as it will present on the seminar stage on both days of the show, offering attendees a unique journey through the evolution of diagnostics in the aftermarket.

Richard Collyer, National Sales Manager at Launch Tech UK, will present a deep dive into past diagnostics and current workshop realities, from Secure Gateways and DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol) to faster connection speeds and increased demand for remote diagnostics.

Launch Tech UK’s seminar, titled “Launch: Past, Present & Future,” also includes exclusive insights from key industry influencers and Launch Tech UK ambassadors, Baz Meredith and Jimmy O’Riley.

Meredith will discuss diagnostics issues workshops are facing such as poor coverage, slow updates and ghost faults. And O’Riley will highlight additional real-world problems including DPF and EGR issues, electrical and ECU faults, plus drivability and comfort issues.

The session concludes with an exclusive look at Launch’s future roadmap, including the expansion to a new, larger UK facility, doubling technical support services, enhancing training capabilities and advancing diagnostic tools like the new X-431 EURO to meet the future needs of the market and vehicle technology.

Collyer commented: “Mechanex 2025 is a fantastic opportunity to reflect on our journey and help workshops prepare for the future. With insights from key figures Baz and Jimmy too, attendees will leave with practical knowledge and a clearer view of how diagnostics must evolve with the latest technology trends.”

Launch Tech UK will be presenting in the seminar area on both days of the show at 1pm. You can visit the Launch team at Mechanex on stand CC50.
