Young drivers want reminders about deferred work

A recent survey of 1,000 drivers conducted by Marketing Delivery, an automotive digital marketing firm, has revealed that 78% of drivers aged 18 to 24 and 45% of all age groups want their garage to contact them between services to check if any deferred work needs to be carried out.

The study suggests that garages are missing out on potential revenue streams. Jeremy Evans, the CEO of Marketing Delivery, said that there is a significant increase in demand for data-driven digital automation because it is more efficient and cost-effective.

The company’s marketing automation platform, VoiceBox, links with the DMS and can send automated reminders at the most appropriate time to alert customers to any outstanding red or amber work, and any click-through actions are fed back for the dealer staff to follow-up. Jeremy added, “This new consumer research echoes the strong response rates we’re already seeing.”
