BMW M Performance Parts Available for X5 iX5

To mark the launch of the fifth generation of the BMW X5* and the first all-electric BMW iX5**, BMW is offering two different ranges of accessories for customisation and for everyday use. BMW M Performance Parts accentuate the dynamic look and include aerodynamic components such as summer and winter complete wheels. While functional BMW accessories expand transport and utilisation possibilities. These include the new BMW Aero roof boxes, holders and adapters for the Travel & Comfort System, BMW all-weather floor mats, and the BMW luggage compartment mat.

BMW M Performance Parts: components for aerodynamics and design.

The BMW M Performance Parts for the new BMW X5 and the first BMW iX5 include vehicle-specific components for aerodynamics and design. The M Performance front trims refine the surfaces within the illuminated frame of the redesigned BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille with sporty carbon outfit. The three-part M Performance front splitter in carbon fibre combines aerodynamic functionality with low weight. The offering also includes the M Performance roof spoiler in black high-gloss, and the M Performance flow blades rear in carbon fibre left and right of the rear diffuser.

The M Performance exterior mirror caps and the M Performance rear diffuser are made from the fibre composite aramid. The material is like carbon in terms of appearance, structure and strength, but it can be penetrated by electromagnetic waves meaning that sensors in the exterior mirrors and antennas for operating the tailgate automatically remain fully functional.

BMW M Performance Parts: summer and winter complete wheels from 21 to 23 inches.

The BMW M Performance Parts offering includes summer and winter complete wheels in sizes from 21 to 23 inches, the highlight being the 23-inch M Performance light alloy wheel Y-spoke 1110 M Bicolor in Jet Black, gloss milled. For the future BMW M Performance model with V8 engine**, an M Performance Sound silencer system is planned for specific markets outside Europe. The matching M Performance carbon fibre tail pipe finishers also enhance the optics of the standard exhaust system for the V8 engine and the BMW X5 M60e xDrive.

BMW accessories: New BMW Aero roof box in three sizes.

As a functional accessory, the BMW Aero roof box for the new BMW X5 and the first BMW iX5 is available with a volume of 350, 450 or 550 litres. Each variant offers 30 litres more volume than its respective predecessor model, as well as enhanced aerodynamics. Varying combinations of the matching BMW Aero and Flex luggage bags make use of the volume of the Aero 350, 450 and 550 roof boxes to ensure optimised luggage handling. In addition, two BMW Flex transport box luggage bags fit in the BMW rear box. This is mounted on a BMW rear cycle carrier and offers 300 litres of storage space. The BMW luggage bags are made from durable ballistic polyester with nubuck accents. They come with ergonomic handles, a padded shoulder strap, side and interior pockets, as well as a separate shoe bag.

BMW accessories: adapters for the Travel & Comfort System.

Holders and adapters for the Travel & Comfort System expand utilisation possibilities in the rear of the new BMW X5 and the first BMW iX5. The standard system is located on the back of the front seat and uses a magnetic holder for smartphones. The Travel & Comfort tablet holder and the Travel & Comfort tablet holder Pro are available as optional extras. With an additional joint, the tablet holder Pro offers more adjustment options and a surface with silver accents. The Travel & Comfort smartphone adapter available separately clicks into both tablet holders. It can accommodate smartphones up to 7 inches in size and keeps the connections accessible. The waterproof BMW all-weather floor mats for front and rear and the waterproof BMW luggage compartment mat are available to protect the vehicle interior and the luggage compartment in bad weather.
