IAAF freezes membership fees as it increases investment

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has confirmed that membership fees will remain unchanged for the coming year, reinforcing its commitment to delivering value for members while continuing to invest in initiatives that support and strengthen the UK automotive aftermarket.

The decision comes at a time when businesses across the sector continue to face increasing cost pressures.

Over the past 12 months, IAAF has continued to champion the interests of the independent aftermarket through government engagement, lobbying activity, technical support, skills and workforce initiatives, industry events and its ongoing work to secure a fair and competitive trading environment for all businesses operating within the sector.

A major focus for the federation has been its Right to Repair campaign, which continues to gather momentum as IAAF works to protect equal access to vehicle data, repair information and parts for independent operators. The issue is one of federation’s key lobbying priorities as vehicle technology becomes increasingly complex and connected.

Alongside its advocacy work, IAAF continues to invest in member engagement through a growing programme of member communities, events and networking opportunities.

Looking ahead, IAAF will invest in enhancing the membership experience, including the development of a new website, improved member resources and initiatives designed to broaden the voice of both the federation and its members across government, industry and the wider automotive landscape.

Mark Field, Chief Executive of IAAF, said: “We have a duty to support members while continuing to invest in activities that deliver tangible benefits to businesses and individuals working throughout the supply chain.”

“Membership engagement is the highest it’s ever been and more businesses are looking to join the federation. This, coupled with our growing garage membership, underlines our commitment to being the voice of the entire independent automotive aftermarket.

“Thank you to all members for their support. Together, we will continue to strengthen, protect and promote the UK automotive aftermarket for the benefit of the entire industry.”
