Motor factors can now access Leader Specialist Components’ range quicker and easier than ever after the UK-based global parts supplier went live on TecCom.
In a significant milestone for the family-run business, which supplies both OEM and aftermarket components to the trade, LSC’s customers can now access live pricing and availability, view the company’s extensive range, place and manage orders, and streamline procurement.
LSC General Manager, Joe Harrington, said: “By integrating TecCom into LSC, our customers have complete access to our portfolio and order when they want to – they have the control. By offering a faster, simpler and smarter parts procurement process, we are confident the initial burst of activity will turn into consistent, substantial growth.”
One regular motor factor customer said the integration between LSC and TecCom had sped up the ordering process, meaning their customer received a faster and more satisfactory response.
The customer said: “We prefer using TecCom because we’re very busy. Before we would have to put the call down to the customer, go through price lists, and if we couldn’t find the part, we may have to call the customer back whilst we call LSC. TecCom adds value you can’t see immediately but speeds up the process and avoids keeping the customer waiting.”
Another motor factor customer hailed TecCom as a “life saver” before continuing: “To be able to continue my conversation with the customer and give them the answer they want, price and availability in seconds is massive.”
