Niterra UK Ltd – home of NGK Ignition Parts and NTK Vehicle Electronics – is celebrating its 50th
anniversary in style at Automechanika Birmingham 2025, its biggest event of the year.
The celebrations begin with a special stand opening at 10am on Tuesday 3 June, featuring the reveal of
a historic Formula 1 car. It will be a rare chance to get up close with a piece of motorsport history.
Managing Director Marko Wowczyna will also deliver a short opening address to mark the occasion.
Previewing the show, Marko said: “This year is a huge milestone for the business and Automechanika is
the perfect stage to mark the occasion. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved over the past 50
years – and even more excited about what’s to come. We’re looking forward to welcoming customers
and partners to our stand to discuss our latest developments and celebrate the anniversary together.”
Across the three days, visitors can meet some of Niterra’s motorsport brand ambassadors – with
Charlie Martin, Max Coates and a star from the Great Britain Speedway team appearing on the stand.
Visitors can also enter a daily prize draw to win a limited-edition NGK 50th anniversary merchandise
bundle, including an exclusive collector’s edition book charting the brand’s legacy in the UK.
