Banner Launches Next Generation Of Bike Bull Batteries

Banner - one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of starter and electrical system batteries – has launched its latest generation of start-stop Bike Bull GEL batteries to coincide with the start of the biker season.

Offering improved performance and reliability for all classes and types of motorbikes, the range of six new racing type batteries is characterised by a combination of the highest vibration and cycle resistance, whilst also being fully leak proof for added safety. Due to the innovative technology deployed in their design and production, the new batteries are already pre-charged and ready for immediate use. Such features mean there is no requirement for acid handling or additional recharging.

The new-to-range Bike Bull GEL batteries provide Banner with coverage of an additional 2600 motorbike, moped and scooter applications, whilst also being suitable for use in ATVs/Quads, jet skis and lawn tractors.

As Banner’s Country Manager, Lee Quinney states: “The new start-stop Bike Bull GEL batteries represent the latest in terms of quality, reliability, power and performance. Available in a range of sizes and capacities, customers can now gain access to an enhanced Bike Bull product offering that meets the requirements of approximately 95 per cent of the European motorbike, moped and scooter market.”

One of the main drivers behind Banner’s development of its Bike Bull GEL range is the prediction that by 2025 the share of motorbike batteries in the global, two-wheeler market will reach a level of around 75 million units. Such an upward sales trend will be further boosted by both the demand for fuel-efficient, two-wheelers with start-stop technology and governmental directives aimed at cutting fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Additionally, and given that all Banner batteries form part of a well-established and proven recycling system, products such as the latest generation bike Bull batteries are almost certain to strike an accord with nature-loving fans of the great outdoors.
