Motorway, the UK’s fastest-growing used car marketplace, sold its most expensive car on record in its daily sales last week, with dealers going wild for a nearly new Ferrari F8 which sold for £235,383.
Motorway has seen record numbers of all types of cars going into its daily online sales, with volumes exceeding 1,000 vehicles a day. Recently, Motorway has seen a strong number of high performance cars hitting the platform. As such, dealers have been spoiled for choice when it comes to securing quality private stock and this Ferrari F8 was no exception.
The 2022 supercar had just 2,950 miles on the clock, making it a must-have for dealers specialising in prestige and performance cars to have on their forecourts. Finished In Rosso Corsa – the historic international colour of Italian racing cars – this particular model represents the very lifeblood of Ferrari and dealers couldn’t wait to get their hands on it, as shown by the 47 different dealers that bid on it.
On the back of this record sale, Motorway today reveals its Top 10 most expensive cars sold so far this year. In second place, behind the Ferrari, was an Aston Martin DBS which sold in January for almost £160k. This was closely followed by another Ferrari in January which went for £142k. Motorway’s Top 10 features three Ferrari models, as well as three Aston Martin models with a Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Bentley and even a Lamborghini Huracan making the list.
