Thurlow Nunn introduces new brand with Lings Hyundai purchase

Thurlow Nunn – a leading car retailer with locations across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire – has completed the purchase of Lings Hyundai in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

The purchase represents a new chapter in the Thurlow Nunn story, with Hyundai becoming
the fourth brand of cars the company now sells.

Lings has long been the premier destination for new and used Hyundai in Lowestoft and the
wider area, enjoying an esteemed reputation and delivering a high level of customer service.
Lings will now become a Thurlow Nunn dealership specialising in Hyundai, with local
customers still able to take advantage of the fantastic service and work with the same staff
that have served Lings so well over the years.

The addition of Hyundai to Thurlow Nunn’s range of available car brands is the second
such addition in the space of a year. Thurlow Nunn incorporated the sale of MG vehicles
into their business in November 2023, with the company’s King’s Lynn showroom offering a
range of new and used MG vehicles.

Beyond Hyundai and MG, Thurlow Nunn has a superb range of Vauxhall and Peugeot cars
available to buy, providing buyers with a top quality range of vehicles from which to choose.
The company also recently opened a new Peugeot showroom in Norwich, and is planning on
adding a number of new Stellantis points by the end of 2024. What’s more, Thurlow Nunn is
a Honda aftersales retailer.

“Bringing another brand into the Thurlow Nunn family is a really exciting moment for us and
we are delighted to complete the purchase of Lings Hyundai in Lowestoft,” said Will Tew,
Managing Director of Thurlow Nunn. “As a business we are keen to enable sustainable
growth, and this deal falls in line perfectly with those ambitions. Lings has established itself
as a leading Hyundai dealership in the local area over the years, and we are thrilled to be
able to take on that legacy. We hope and expect this to be the first of many Hyundai sites we
operate as we look to further develop ourselves as a key regional partner.”
