The move brings the number of countries using the platform to 15 and means fleets totalling almost eight million vehicles globally have adopted it to manage their service, maintenance and repair (SMR) processes.
Tim Meadows, CCO at epyx, said: “This is a further important step in the growth of 1link Service Network and means we can offer major international leasing fleets the opportunity to use the platform across potentially all of their major European territories.
“The advantages of being able to use a single solution of this type are obvious for these businesses, creating efficient, effective, standardised procedures for SMR purchasing and management throughout their organisations.
“1link is now available in Austria, Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. We plan to add further countries in due course.”
While 1link Service Network was first launched by epyx in the UK more than 20 years ago, it is now also offered by Business Gateway GmbH, based in Germany. BG GmbH was founded in 2000, developing expertise in fleet tyre purchasing systems across central Europe. It was acquired by Corpay, which also owns epyx, in 2023.
Benedikt Hesselmann, key account manager at BG GmbH, added: “The move into these countries has been powered by new business that we have signed in recent months and is very much being prompted by demand in the vehicle leasing sector.
“For our customers, this will deliver substantial advantages in terms of the processing of SMR across their fleet operations in Finland, Norway and Sweden, creating new levels of control, raising service levels and minimising costs.
“It also means that we’ll be working hard in Scandinavia during the coming months to set up networks of SMR suppliers, who will also gain benefits from 1link platform in terms of faster approval of work, reduced manual effort and automated invoice reconciliation.”
