Arnold Clark Autoparts has named MJ Allen as its Supplier of the Year, following a year of outstanding service, support and partnership across the business.
This award recognises excellence across a number of key areas that are critical to Autoparts branches and customers, including parts availability, ease of ordering, warranty support, technical assistance, delivery reliability, customer service and product quality.
Craig McCracken, Group Factor Manager at Arnold Clark Autoparts commented: “Each year, the award serves as an opportunity to showcase the suppliers who help the business consistently deliver the high standards our customers expect. All shortlisted partners including Alliance Automotive Group (AAG), Firstline, IntermotorGroup, NRF, Sogefi and V Group International have demonstrated exceptional commitment over the past 12 months, making the final decision an incredibly difficult one for us.”
Chloe Turner, Sales Manager at MJ Allen, commented: “This award means a great deal to our whole team. It recognises the work we put in every day to support our customers, from product range and stock availability to technical expertise, delivery performance and service standards. A huge thank you to the Arnold Clark Autopartsteam for the recognition, and congratulations to all the shortlisted suppliers. We’re committed to raising the bar year after year, and it’s fantastic to see that dedication acknowledged.”
Exol Lubricants was also named as the runner-up, receiving the Highly Commended award. Mark Gundel, Area Sales Manager at Exol Lubricants said: “It’s fantastic to receive Highly Commended from the Arnold Clark Autoparts team. We work hard to strive for excellence in everything we do, so this award is great recognition for all our efforts.”
All shortlisted suppliers were celebrated at a special Supplier of the Year event at Cameron House Hotel, Loch Lomond, where guests enjoyed an exclusive overnight experience set against one of Scotland’s most iconic backdrops.
The event began with a welcome lunch, followed by a memorable 4×4 off-road driving experience through the stunning Loch Lomond landscape in Land Rover Defender and Discovery vehicles. Guests then enjoyed a visit to Luss Gin & Whisky Distillery, with a guided tour and tasting experience, before returning to Cameron House for an evening cocktail reception and private dining in the hotel’s library.
The following morning, attendees were invited to enjoy breakfast and make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities, rounding off what was a fantastic celebration of partnership and success.
McCracken added: “Supplier relationships are key in helping our business maintain exceptional service levels across our branch network. This award is designed to recognise the vital role suppliers play in ensuring workshops and technicians have access to the parts they need, when they need them.
“Congratulations once again to MJ Allen and Exol Lubricants on their respective achievements, and a huge thank you goes to all of our suppliers for their ongoing commitment.”
