Ring and OSRAM announce sponsorship of BTCC

Renowned lighting specialist, OSRAM and its subsidiary, auto accessory giant, Ring, has revealed its support of the NAPA racing team for British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) this year.

Reigning BTCC champions, NAPA Racing, is welcoming new sponsors into this coming season, two of which are Ring Automotive, with its logo prominently displayed on the rear wheel arches of Sam Osbourne’s car, and its parent company, OSRAM, with its logo on the front of the car under both headlights of Dan Rowbottom’s car.

An unchanged driver line-up will be led by defending champion Ash Sutton, who goes into 2024 looking to become the first driver in history to win five Drivers’ championship titles. Joining Ash again will be Dan Cammish, Dan Rowbottom and Sam Osbourne, making the team an impressive and formidable force to be reckoned with.

Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, commented: “This year we’ve decided for both Ring and OSRAM to support the NAPA Racing team after the very impressive season they had last year. A hattrick of titles is something they’ll want to retain this year, and we want to be on that journey with them!

“The BTCC is massively well supported with big numbers of fans. By sponsoring NAPA Racing, Ring and OSRAM will be able to present itself to a large audience of motoring enthusiasts. Such exposure allows us to make this key customer group fully aware the complete OSRAM and Ring range of products. Being aligned with the NAPA Racing team allows us to bring a lot of attention to our brands and therefore, increase our identity in the autotmotive industry.”

The BTCC season kicks off at Donington Park on 27th to the 28th April with the final race at Brands Hatch on 5th to the 6th October.
