With the arrival of spring, workshops are preparing for the rise in vehicles coming out of winter with pothole-related damage, thanks to the harsh winter conditions’ after-effects on the roads. With technicians under pressure to keep up with demands quickly and efficiently, Leisureways has expanded its steering and suspension offering to ensure consistent availability.
A recent report from Asphalt Industry Alliance (AIA) estimated the cost of fixing all potholes on the roads in England and Wales at £18.6bn. And recent data from the RAC found that February alone saw 6,290 mentions of potholes when drivers logged breakdowns. Highlighting the growing strain that poor road conditions are causing to vehicles, with workshops seeing a significant increase in steering and suspension related repairs.
As part of Leisureways commitment to meeting customer needs, the distributor has increased its stock to cope with this increased demand.
