Easy2Recruit staff will be talking to visitors about how its programmes are helping the automotive aftermarket address the skills crisis.
Easy2Recruit launched in June 2023 and since then the company has been helping automotive businesses to access skilled overseas workers.
“We have the solution to the skills gap,” said Ambi Singh, CEO of Easy2Recruit. “We help garages to recruit technicians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India. We do all the relocation from overseas to the door of the UK garage. We manage everything. All the garage owner needs to do is have a video interview with the candidate. For the overseas worker, we handle all the pastoral care, from the visa application to booking the flight to arranging accommodation. Ultimately, we prepare the route for the first day at work.”
Alongside the core offering, Easy2Recruit has also launched Student2Skill, which pairs international students studying in the UK with garages looking for part-time workers.
Explaining how Student2Skill works, Ambi said: “We’re putting mature international students together with UK garages for part-time work, focusing on roles like tyre fitting. Many already have work experience and advanced academic qualifications but are eager to learn trades too and can offer a wealth of skills and capability to the UK workforce.”
Alongside these innovative programmes, Easy2Recruit are also the authorised recruitment supplier for the National Body Repair Association (NBRA).
