The all-new evening trade event was held at Wembley from 4.00pm to 9.30pm, and was set up to enable professionals from across the automotive aftermarket to learn about the newest developments in parts, tools, and garage equipment.
As an added attraction, visitors to the HELLA stand could pick up Hella Gutmann’s macsRemote diagnostic tool at an ongoing summer 2024 trade show deal price of £495 (usual price £844), with the first three jobs for free.
Using macsRemote can be a game-changer for garages. “Technicians connect macsRemote to the car,” said Julian Goulding, Head of Sales at Hella Gutmann Solutions, “and then our technical experts can remotely access all the vehicle’s electronic systems and perform the required tasks using vehicle manufacturer diagnostic equipment.”
Live advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) calibration demonstrations also took place on the stand using the CSC Tool Mobile.
Staying with ADAS, HELLA was one of a handful of companies at the event that offered a tech talk. The presentation from Hella Gutmann’s Key Account Manager Riccardo Sorano was called ‘ADAS Awareness – identification, calibration, opportunity with HELLA’ and drew a sizeable audience.
“My talk covered current vehicle market requirements for repairers,” said Riccardo, “and offered the audience a better understanding of ADAS systems.”
From a parts perspective, HELLA was displaying electronics and filters for passenger cars, alongside their popular range of handheld lamps.
“TechFest was a fantastic show,” said Julian. “It was free to enter, with parking and refreshments included, and it only got better from there. With some of the biggest names in the sector lined up, there was something for everyone, and we are proud to have played our part.”
