James Price Garage highlights successful growth with TechMan

James Price Garage has enjoyed continued success using TechMan’s award-winning garage management system for over five years, building a strong partnership that supports the garage’s day-to-day operations and ongoing development.

The Walsall-based workshop originally implemented the system after years of struggling with paper diaries and manual processes, which had significant limitations to the business’s growth. Since adopting TechMan, the team has benefited from a more streamlined approach to managing diaries, booking jobs, sending estimates to customers and reporting on repairs.

TechMan introduced Vehicle Health Checks to the James Price Garage team, which are now carried out on every vehicle. This feature has helped drive sales, as customers can view detailed reports explaining the reasons behind recommended work, increasing transparency and trust.

James added: “On the workshop side, it’s one tablet to hand for each technician, and they can easily access technical data by connecting to features like Haynes Pro and Auto Data.”
