More product innovations from Nissens Automotive

Nissens Automotive (Nissens) is forging ahead with its intense product and service extensions, which it will showcase at this year’s Automechanika Frankfurt.

These portfolio product extensions confirm the premium quality component manufacturer’s strong commitment to expanding its footprint in the automotive aftermarket and support the needs of its wholesale distribution partners by growing their sales potential with new products, many of which will reflect the innovations that play an increasingly important role in the aftermarket with new technology vehicles.

Electronically-controlled system components, which offer improved efficiency and optimised control, have been an original equipment (OE) feature in vehicle design for a long time. As a result, Nissens has developed the skills and expertise necessary to introduce various new product groups that provide independent workshops with dependable, Nissens Genuine Quality, replacement components for these vehicles.

In 2019, electric auxiliary pumps joined the company’s well-established ranges of fans and blowers, which was followed by the successful launch of electronically-controlled turbos in 2021. This year, Nissens plans to introduce even more electronically-controlled parts, such as a range of air conditioning (AC) and engine cooling pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and high-voltage AC compressors, for climate control systems, to further bolster its comprehensive offering.

As ongoing component electrification transforms the shape of the independent aftermarket, Nissens is staying ahead of the trend and introducing entirely new system designs that will provide solutions to address new vehicle technologies. Thermal management systems are undergoing the fastest change and these complex systems will remain critical to new energy vehicles (NEV).

The company’s range of thermal system components for NEV consists of more than 500 items and caters for in excess of 2,000 OE part numbers. The programme now extends to pressure and temperature sensors and electric high-voltage AC compressors, which further supports the independent sector and provides it with access to the critical parts of the future, strengthening Nissens’ NEV technical expertise in the process.

As always, these new products come with the company’s established support services, which include detailed resources outlining new vehicle systems, as well as dedicated technical training programmes.

As a recognised specialist in AC, engine cooling, and efficiency and emission systems, Nissens also constantly works on its product range extensions for traditional combustion vehicles and will introduce EGR coolers to complete the Nissens EGR offering and provide a comprehensive solution alongside the existing range of valves and modules. Furthermore, in addition to the 500 new products added since last year, more will be introduced by the end of 2022.

The Nissens product portfolio remains unrivalled in coverage, and all conform to the highest Genuine Nissens Quality standards, many of which are First Fit products delivered with all the necessary additional installation parts in the box.
