The focus of the will be to visit customers in specialist plumbing, electrical, building and non-automotive sectors. Led by Dan Edginton, Specialist Sales Manager, the van will help sell in product, but also help sell out product to end users.
The van will hold a range of products from Ring and OSRAM, including lighting from both brands, as well as battery chargers, dash cams, jump starters, tyre repair kits, amongst others items, from Ring.
The two brands already have a workshop solutions van on the road that has been a huge success with customers and is continuously busy, which is one of the reasons the companies have jointly invested in another.
Dan said: “In terms of plans for the van, we are working as a partner with our customers to demonstrate our products to the end user, thereby creating sell through on their behalf.
“This could be a way of visiting customers‘ workshops or hosting a coffee/trade morning at our customers‘ premises to engage their customers with the products and the initiatives we are pushing, such as ’keep your most important tool on the road with you‘.”
