Schaeffler and ALLDATA cooperate on REPXPERT workshop portal

The expanded digital service offering provides access to up-to-date repair information direct from the vehicle manufacturer.

Schaeffler’s Automotive Aftermarket division and the database and repair software provider ALLDATA have announced the launch of a digital collaboration on the REPXPERT workshop portal in the UK, which will give REPXPERT’s workshop partners the opportunity to access to an even wider range of vehicle manufacturer repair data and instructions.

The constantly increasing number of functions and assistance systems in modern vehicles is also increasing the complexity of vehicle infrastructure. As a reliable global partner to the automotive industry, ALLDATA ensures greater application coverage with its extensive database, which also includes OEM repair times.

REPXPERT workshop members can benefit from subscribing to ALLDATA in several ways: not only can service and repair work be planned more efficiently and carried out faster, but by using ALLDATA they have access to the latest repair information direct from the vehicle producers, covering over 95% of all vehicles currently on our roads. The annual subscription cost includes repair guides, diagnostic codes, and more than six million technical drawings and wiring diagrams, including illustrations of electrical connections. As an additional incentive until the end of the year, subscribers will receive an additional 5,000 REPXPERT bonus points when purchasing an ALLDATA license via the REPXPERT portal, which they can invest on workshop clothing, tools or promotional materials – PLUS access to ALLDATA for three users instead of the usual single point access.

ALLDATA’s new “LabourTimes” application offers vehicle technicians and mechatronics engineers the possibility to view exact OEM information on labour rates and reference times with just one click, so accurate cost estimates can be generated quickly and easily.
