SMP Europe, the home of Intermotor, Lemark and Lucas brands, will be displaying the latest products in its range of manufactured EGR Valves, Exhaust Pressure Sensors and Air Mass Meters at the show on stand H16 in Hall 3.0.
Martin Turner, Marketing Director at SMP Europe, comments: “We’re pleased to be back out at trade exhibitions and are looking forward to demonstrating our engineering skills, from concept to distribution, to our international customers.
“We are showcasing a number of our manufactured ranges, which have been produced by our engineering team, showing off our validation process along with our 3D printing and milling capabilities.”
The company has had a busy year already with the opening of SMP Europe’s new garage facility within its Nottingham-based UK Centre of Engineering, with the capability of stripping electric vehicles for research and development of new applications.
Following the introduction of the new garage facility, SMP Europe is set to offer technical training on electric vehicles, with engineers able to complete work to level 3 certifications.
This investment in SMP Europe’s technical and engineering resource will enable the brand to continue its work as a trusted authority on engine management, ignition, and emission products. The engineering team has grown from four to 16 members of staff in recent years, and additional investment has also seen the implementation of 3D printing to assist in rapid product prototyping, fitment testing and in house custom tooling.
Visitors to Automechanika Frankfurt 2022 can get up close with all of SMP Europe’s products and speak to the engineering team to learn more about how its products are designed and manufactured to the highest standard.
