TechMan champions next generation of talent this National Apprenticeship Week

As National Apprenticeship Week gets underway, TechMan is celebrating its commitment to developing the next generation of talent – not just in the workshop, but across other areas of the business too.

Leo Freebairn, Sales Director (UK) at TechMan, said “Apprentices are the future of the industry. We believe in learning on the job, real progression and supporting people properly from day one. It’s incredible to see our apprentices at TechMan grow and contribute across the business.”

TechMan’s apprenticeship program combines hands-on experience with structured learning, mentorship and genuine career pathways. Apprentices gain exposure to a variety of roles, from technical and workshop duties to customer support, admin, marketing, social media and beyond.

In a new video launched for National Apprenticeship Week, TechMan sat down with its apprentices to hear their thoughts on the programme. Max Catchpole, Marketing Apprentice said: “I noticed how many people in the business had started their career as an apprentice and it just made me realise what a great place TechMan is for supporting career progression.”

And Maja Delost, IT Support Apprentice added “The team were so welcoming – it was daunting joining, but everyone made me feel so comfortable I settled in quickly. And I’m not afraid to ask questions or raise issues as everyone is really helpful.”

The new video has been created by the award-winning garage management system brand to highlight the experiences of its apprentices, showing the real impact work experience can have on the next generation – and how TechMan is investing in the future of the sector. National Apprenticeship Week brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy. And TechMan is pleased to be part of that story.
