V-Tech Appoints Brand Ambassador as it Goes for Growth

V-Tech UK, one of the leading providers of diagnostic and garage equipment, has announced it has appointed an ambassador to help drive the group’s growth strategy in 2024.

The role has been secured by Andy Savva, The Garage Inspector, one of the aftermarket’s most renowned trainers and automotive experts.

His association with V-Tech UK and its brands will mark the start of a period of consolidation for the group, as it brings together its five business entities to create a full service and equipment offering to independent garage workshops, bodyshops and tyre shops throughout the UK.

Chris Coyle, chief operating officer at V-Tech said: “I’ve known Andy for over 20 years and watched him help hundreds of garages navigate the decisions involved in running a successful workshop business.

“He operates with the utmost integrity and is passionate about finding out what a garage business really needs. He’d never recommend a product or service that’s not the best fit for them.

“There’s a huge amount of synergy and trust between Andy and V-Tech. This is highlighted by the fact we’re the first garage equipment supplier he’s ever worked with in this way. “He has a large network, and whilst that will undoubtedly benefit V-Tech, it works both ways.

“We focus on long-term relationships and ultimately helping customers to realise a return on investment, whatever garage equipment they buy from us.

“That’s why this isn’t just any ambassador deal. We’re making it customer centric. This means, in certain cases, we’ll pay for customers to attend one of The Garage Inspector courses to help expand their skill set and maximise the long-term use of their garage equipment.

“This genuine desire to make workshop businesses stronger, not only means better a return on investment, it facilitates a healthy business with solid growth potential. That’s good news for the workshop owner, us, and the aftermarket.”

Andy added: “It wasn’t a hard decision to work with V-Tech, but it wasn’t one I took lightly either.

“I’ve engaged with lots of garage equipment suppliers over the years and they often let my garage folk down on everything from delivery dates to poor customer service. That won’t happen here.

“And I’m certainly not representing V-Tech to sell their products. Good products sell themselves. I’m here because I know they excel at service – and that’s what really matters to the customer.”
